America’s Kids Swim School, brings swim school instructors to you!
Children will learn basic swimming techniques in 12 lessons, or additional lessons are free (see our guarantee). First and foremost, emphasis is on water safety. Then students learn swim strokes where we continue to guarantee PROGRESS with every lesson. We teach children to swim the right way the first time! Our instructors are experienced Water Safety Instructors and/or trained lifeguards who have passed rigorous background checks and carry full liability insurance. And of course, they love working with kids!

How long of a lesson should I choose for my child?
We recommend the following lesson lengths based on the age of your student
30 Minutes 6 mo-3.5 years
45 Minutes 4 - 7 years
60 Minutes 8-60+ years
What is your learning guarantee?
We have a two part guarantee: First we guarantee beginning swimmers 3+ yrs, meeting the requirements below, can get to the edge of the pool without help by the end of the last lesson in their 3x wk, 30 minute, 12 lesson package. After these initial skills are mastered, we guarantee PROGRESS with every lesson and your child goes on to learn every water skill they will need for life!
Beginning Swimmer Guarantee requirements:
*Age 3+ with no physical/mental disabilities
*Lessons are one-on-one and must be conducted a minimum of 3x per week and 30+ minutes per student
*If your child cannot get to the wall after their 12 lesson package, you will get up to 4 more lessons for free.
What is the best age to start swimming lessons?
No other lesson or sport could save a life so the sooner the better!
Can I do a trial lesson?
We do not offer trial lessons however we do offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If after the first swim lesson you are unsatisfied with your instructor we will refund our unused lessons or restart your entire lesson package with another instructor, your choice. Please email us within 72 hours after your first lesson to request the 100% satisfaction guarantee.
What areas do you teach?
For now we are only providing this service in the City of Clovis but this will expand once Stay at home is lifted in Fresno and surrounding areas.
Who will contact me to confirm my lesson times and days?
After we match your needs with an instructor, we will give you their name and information and they will contact you to discuss and finalize your lesson days and times for the package you purchased. If at any time you decide that your instructor is not a match for your family, please let us know and we will try to match you with an alternative instructor as soon as possible.
Do we need our own pool for the lessons?
It is best if you have access to a home or housing community pool however, we do have some instructors with access to pools and we have an indoor pool. You can answer "No'Pool" on questionnaire form and we will try to match you with the closest instructor with a pool who is available.
When is my payment processed and can I pay with cash or check?
Payments will be processed after your schedule has been confirmed with your instructor and you are ready to begin. We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
How long will it take my child to learn to swim?
Learning to swim is a process like walking that takes practice to coordinate movement, breathing and body position in the water. Children learn at different paces but our goal is for them to learn as quickly as possible being taught in an enjoyable and positive manner.
How do you teach and what curriculum do you use?
We teach swimming the right way the first time with nationally certified curriculum created by the American Swimming Coaches Association. Our curriculum is goal oriented and rewards swimmers as they master swimming skills on their learning to swim journey! We love to swim, love children, and love teaching them to love the water!
